Weekend Update:

Well we stayed close to home, but still busy this weekend. Friday night we played games with our friends Ryan and Lisa--and the girls won! woohoo! :) Saturday started with me going to breakfast with a group of girls for our friend Deborah's birthday--we kidnapped her and surprised her :) We also went to a birthday party for Avery's friend Matteo, took Avery to see WALL-E (her first movie theatre experience!),hung out with friends/neighbors Saturday night...and then had yummy homemade biscuits Sunday morning. And--as you can see from the picture--my hibiscus plant bloomed!! I love hibiscus flowers! The other pics are of Avery enjoying Matteo's birthday present and Avery,Matteo and Hailey with Matteo's Grandpa--who Avery "took" to.

Avery Talk...

Avery said to me the other day, "Mom, I have a handsome guy-(talking about Treyden) and you have a handsome guy. Only difference is I have other boyfriends and you don't"

One of my famous lines to Avery is, "Honey, you're just gonna have to deal with it"...whatever the situation may be...anyway, yesterday, a piece of one of her toys broke, she told me about it and then said, "I guess I will just have to deal with huh?!" My other line is, this sounds bad but, "your father is killin' me!"...so when i was a little ticked at Johnny the other day, I said, "Avery, your father..." that's all I said, but she finished it with, "is killin' you Mom?!"

We were flying home from Utah, she says, "Mom?-God and Mary Poppins live in the clouds huh?"

Johnny frequently uses the phrase, "I'm gonna hafta drop the hammer!" with Avery (meaning she is doing something she shouldn't be and she's gonna get in trouble)...it's kind of a sarcastic thing between the two of them. So a couple days ago, while playing, Avery takes the clothes off of one of her baby dolls and tosses them on the floor and says to me, "I'm not gonna show this to Dad." I asked her why and she responded with, "he might drop the hammer!!"

Johnny said something to Avery last night and she responded with, "Ya, what's your point?"...

She asked me last night, "God made me a special little girl, with his magic wand, right mama?!"

While watching Disney Channel today, " Mom, that's the Jonas Brothers, they are cute!"...I'm thinkin'-you gotta be kiddin me, you are 3!!!

While holding up a $1 bill and pointing to the picture of George Washington, "Mom, is this God?"

Shopping with Mom and Dad--she was walking in front of us and turns around and says, "Come on slow plokes"

I asked her to please help me clean up her room, her response, " I'm too busy"

She's been telling people lately, "My doctor said soda is good for my body"...because I've been trying to get her to drink more milk, telling her that her Doctor said it's good for her.
