snow time and friends

While we were in Utah, we also got to play in the SNOW!! It was great--we had 2 storms while we were there. Avery had fun making snow angels :) We got to shop and visit with Trey and Anna (pic of Trey giving Avery her Christmas present--while she was just waking up one morning),had a fun get-together with Elsha,Gage and Madison at McDonalds, and I got to have dinner at Olive Garden one evening(along with my Mom and Laura) with my friends Kari,Kate and their Mom,Robin. (I'm waiting for Kari to post the pic, so I can steal it and post it!!...come on Kari!...I shouldn't complain, I'm the one that forgot my camera!!) It was a fun visit...we'll be back in Utah in a few days for Christmas!!

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Johnny's company flew us to Salt Lake last weekend for an amazing Christmas Party at the Grand America Hotel--we had such a blast! We were able to stay at my parents home Friday night and then his company got us a room at the hotel Saturday night--what a treat--the room was gorgeous!! (the first 2 pics are of the view from our room, and our suite/room) It really was an amazing party--it was a family event--so Avery got to attend with us. She danced the night away until midnight and got the TINKERBELL movie from Santa. She was so cute when she sat with Santa--I thought she would get shy and not say a word with 100 or so people staring at her, but she didn't at all! She had a full conversation into a microphone, with Santa.

Happy Birthday Celeste!!

Last Sunday, we had a surprise brunch birthday party for our friend Celeste. We had our close group of neighbors/friends over and had a nice time eating homemade biscuits,gravy,eggs and sausage...and celebrating Celeste's birthday!
