Avery @ Disneyland

One of Avery's favorite things to do, when we are at Disneyland, is see all the characters. So, here are more pics of her w/ her some of her "friends"! Also, we went through the Sourdough Bread tour @ California Adventure, late one night, and she was the only one who really lasted and enjoyed the whole tour...some of the bakers noticed her through the big glass windows and brought her out a "Mickey bread"... I thought that was so sweet! And, as always, we had to get a picture in the "A" :)

Disneyland, day 2

Wyatt LOVED all the characters! It was so fun to see him light up and giggle each time he saw a character! Big sis led the way and was such a good sport to hold him up for pictures. We also went and ate at House of Blues in Downtown Disney--yum!

Halloween!

Love California on Halloween--it was so warm! At the resort we stayed at in Newport Beach, they put on a great, free event the morning of Halloween. The kids went on a scavenger hunt and played games for prizes. That night, Avery, Wyatt and their cousins got to trick-or-treat in the hills of Newport Beach...amazing... The weather was perfect, the people were inviting and the candy--well, we have TONS!! (I'm not one of those people who gives away all the candy to a dentist or something crazy like that...I eat it...)

Old Town San Diego

One of our favorite places--Old Town San Diego, we visited there after our day at the San Diego Zoo. The kids got in their costumes and trick-or-treated (the night before Halloween) in the square at Old Town...so much fun!!

While in California, we visited my Aunt and Uncle in Los Angeles. They have a gorgeous house in the hills of LA--you can see the Griffith Observatory from their house (in the middle picture) We enjoyed the afternoon with them, while hanging out in their backyard. Avery got to "swim" in their hot tub--and had too much fun. Love you John and Marsky~can't wait to see you again!

...forgot to post...Avery's Halloween party!

Before we left for So. Cal., I let Avery have a little Halloween party for her and a few friends. We went to the library, all dressed up, for storytime. Then, we came back to our house to decorate cookies, play games and have lunch before school. I'm so happy that Avery is enjoying school and has made some cute friends there!

San Diego Zoo!

On our most recent trip to So.Cal. we ventured to the San Diego Zoo--and spent the whole day there--it is a HUGE zoo! Avery's favorite animals were the giraffes. It was a beautifully sunny day in San Diego...oh how I miss California!

Scary Hill...aka Cherry Hill :)

We had a fun evening, the week before Halloween, at "Scary" Hill. We mini-golfed, rock-climbed, went through a little hay maze and rode on a golf cart for a scavenger hunt. Cherry Hill did a great job of transforming their place for Halloween--it was so cute!
